Turned 2 years old.

 

And just like that, practically overnight, she’s become a little bundle of precocious, troublemaking energy.  Whether it’s locking mommy in a room, stripping naked in public, or forcefully demanding “Watch. Beauty. NOW.”, our sweet little angel is adept at finding new and creative ways of testing mom and dad’s patience.

 

For her birthday, most of Rachel’s family was in town, and we had fun going swimming (which Maebe now LOVES to do) opening presents, and riding in the cool Radio Flyer wagon that Papa J found.  

 

Since the big day, she loves to stride around with her hands on her hips and exclaim “Hime Chew” (i’m 2) to anyone who will listen.  Their response is usually the same - thick with sarcasm:

 

“Oh really.  I wouldn’t have guessed.”
