Lo and behold!  Finally, after 23 hours of labor (!) Maebe Lyn Turk came into the world.  Mom only had to push for about 20 minutes (which is pretty good I hear for passing the Worlds Biggest Kidney Stone).  Maebe cried for a second or two... and then just chilled out, took in the sights, and tried to figure out what the heck had just happened.  Both mom and baby are super healthy and glad Maebe is finally here.  

(ed. note:  I’ve been told I can no longer refer to our child as “The World’s Biggest Kidney Stone”.)
