What a weekend! Rachel’s whole family came down to be here for... drumroll please..... Maebe’s Blessing!
It was a whirlwind of an experience these last few days...but one full of love and joy and memory making opportunities. Maebe met her (rich) Uncle Ben for the first time, and her Grandpa Eric...from now on to be known as Papa J. She also met her Uncle Jake... and all three of them were in love with her at first sight. Papa J in particular was under her spell... Maebe’s gonna have a long, happy, spoiled life as long as he’s around ;).
Maebe also spent lots of time with the rest of the family. Christy, Keileigh, and Noelle all showered her with love and affection. After the blessing she got to meet lots of extended friends and family. Everyone loves her. She’s very blessed to have such a good family.
The family had lots of fun experiences together. The kids all went to a fashion show and then to Cafe Trang for some Asian cuisine. The next morning the whole family when to the Blue Plate Diner for breakfast. The days went by too fast... soon, it was time to say goodbye.
Maebe (and her mom and dad) just want to say thankyou to all the family that supports and loves her so much, both near and far, and for all their efforts to be a strength to our family.
Thank you!

Maebe was blessed on Sept. 30th, at 1:00 in the Wilson Ward building. She was blessed by her dad and was joined by the bishopric, her Papa J, Uncle Jake, half-uncle Dave, Brother Brown, Brother Bartholomew, and old bishops Post and Orr. She was perfectly behaved and slept like an angel for pretty much the whole thing (she had one quick cry but dad was quick on the binky-draw).
